Tired and unfortunately off to bed again.

Chaos airport check-in, long security line, what can you say about a 3 1/2 hour flight in coach class…Home, out to the park, cook and eat supper and snuggle with the babes!

Thanks to Rose Ellen (Thanks so much for helping convention be so much fun!!) some pix of the STAMP-tionary. Teams split into 4 teams of 5. East vs West (coast of USA) and Vetrans vs. Rookies (I was in this group) – We didn’t make it to round 2 but walked away with a $50 gift certificate.

Didn’t win at STAMP-inary (Pictionary) but had a blast. I’m headed out for supper and then to pack all the FREEEEEE stamps we got today (just one actually – the Ronald McDonald one donated by UPS!!! What a blast!!

Fun fun fun filled morning again. Big exciting news for Stampin’ Up and the new product line Sizzix Big Shot kit. (Photos on the facebook link)

I’ve been chosen to participate in a gameshow tomorrow during general session. I’m not a great “under pressure” type thinker but I’m going to have fun just the same!!

General Session Highlights

My name is Dina Anker and I am A Hobby Demo….Not “just” but a HOBBY demo! I love what I do and avidly love to share that when I can.

“Beginning today, this very minute, I want to eliminate the term just from hobbyist,” Shelli stated. “No one will ever say those words in my presence again without getting an earful! And I hope no one will ever think those words either! You are no more just a hobbyist than a mother is just a mother. . . . We don’t want you hobbyists to underappreciate your impact on Stampin’ Up!” – Shelli Gardner – Stampin’ Up Founder & CEO

Shelli’s announcing some Creative Expression product line tomorrow, probably during the first session tomorrow..Stay tuned…
She is also announcing a new Signature collection line very soon.
Lastly, she’s going to be having her very own blog … www.soshelli.com – launching on August 4.
All sets in the next spring/summer catalog will be die-cut.
Jill Kochethan gave us all a sneak peek of some new Decor Elements – in more colors – Ginormous Flowers for example will be available in pixie pink, so saffron, chocolate chip and gable green. There’s a chocolate chip and a few other colored Nursery Necessities to be launched in Phase 2 as well as the Spooky Spider (in new catty) which is available for convention attendees after Aug. 4.

Lunch & Swapping Madness

This convention centre is HUGE and finding a Spam sign in the middle of a seating area for 6500 women was hard (2 swaps, ATC’s and 6×6 Technique Swap) and then 100 Decor Element photographs before rushing off to my PM sessions:

From Hobby To Business, A Wise Investment (really really cool tips for actually making money instead of filling your closet with stamp sets (OH MY, do you think so eh??) and part 1 of Make & Take’s this evening.

Awards Night

My upline Caroline – in the top 10 Demo’s in Canada. She’ll be attending founders circle in September. I called her on mobile and she listened in on the entire presentation and I even got to hand Shelli the phone to congratulate her – since she was in Toronto. Congrats Caroline!!!!!! Well well deserved!!!
